Google Classrooms - Student Login Changes

Details of new changes to login to Google Classrooms

Google Classrooms has been changed so that the students' passwords are now the school network login passwords (same as if you were in school).  However, student usernames have not changed.

** UPDATE **

The changes to Google Classroom have been to link our CC4 network, SIMS, RM Unify and G Suite all together. This means that the easiest way to log into Google Classroom is via RM Unify (https://sts.platform.rmunify.com/Account/SignIn/astleycooper). This uses your network login details ie; smithj, and whatever your password is in school to log into the computers. The box at the end of where you put in smithj should have @astleycooper in it, like this:

If you have accessed RM Unify via a Google search rather than the link above, it probably will not have @astleycooper in the box at the end of your username, you will need to type it in yourself.

Remember this is not your email address.

Once you have logged into RM Unify, you should have a tile for Google Drive and one for Google Classroom. If you don’t see them, you can add them by clicking on the ‘Add Tile’ button and selecting ‘App from Library’. Once you have the tiles, just click on Google Classroom and it will automatically log you in.
